Maria has worked in the NHS for almost 40years. She is a registered nurse and health visitor and has spent the majority of her working life in a variety of services across Kent, both in the acute and community sector.

For the past 15 years she has managed a range of NHS community services for children in Kent, Maria  has a track record of transforming services and ensuring that  safety and quality of care remains central to that transformation. Maria is passionate about ensuring patients receive the  highest possible standard of care that is both clinically and cost effective and most importantly accessible.


She joined the CCG as the lay Member Registered Nurse in October 2017.

Maria is keen to bring a simple and sensible approach to the CCG and ensure that the patients voice is heard and that the services commissioned are both safe and high quality.

Maria lives between Canterbury and her home in France, she is the mother of 3 grown up children, a very active grandmother, and an obsessive gardener and jam maker.
